The
Alexandra Headland park (with new constructions)
has been there for a while now, but is is always one NOT to miss, if ever
on the Sunshine Coast. Between Maroochydore and Mooloolabah, it is easy
enough to find being right on the beach front beside the main road that
runs through that area, Alexandra Pde
(op. Mari St in case you want exact directions)
This
place is fun!!! The series of small ramps,
banks, hips, grind box/stair combinations make this a little too complex
to describe all at once but it has a little slice of everything right here
in the one park. Just watch out for the weather, being right on the beach
front (as in waves crashing on the shore less than a stones throw away)
because you will really know about it if it is windy or looking nasty out
to sea. Across the road there are a couple of skate shops and some other
food take aways, drink fountain right there and toilet just down the way
after the surf club. If that wasn't good enough, there are lights on it
at night for those who work during the day.
