Welcome to: Benny's Brisbane Skateboard Directory The site for skaters in Brisbane, Australia Compiled by Mark Brimson     Deception Bay   Deception Bay (1 1/2 hours drive north of Brisbane)   This one is right on the main road, Deception Bay Rd (cnr of Bailey Rd) that runs through the whole place. Take the turn off that says "Decption Bay" and just drive and you will have no probs finding it on your left hand side somewhere near Mc Donalds.   Another concrete construction with coping round the entire place!!!! Even over the banks edges and all that. It is not so big - everything being about 4 to 5 feet higgh with some strange but interesting obstacles. There is a nice big flat bank at one end, a banked box in the middle with a rail running over it and a very tight little quarter box smacked on one end. Most of the park is bordered by a reasonable quarter curve with a few bumps, bowl inlets, roll ins and other funny things to make it not just an all encompasing waste. At one end the quarters leave the street area and face each other in a reasonably long but rather bumpy concrete half pipe.
