How to get there: (From the Street Directory:
Map 1) Find Roselea St and once
there, park in the car park of the "KP Shopping Centre" down near the bottom
of the slight hill. You cannot miss the skate park, dug into the side of
the hill as it is the only thing in the area.

Things you should know: The old bowl that
was there from the last decade has been built around to make a double horse
shoe type of thing. The old is just bumpy concrete, but the new one is
all nice smooth concrete with a coping lip the whole way round. There is
a hip at the end of the curve leading into the rest of the park. Everything
is smallish, in size and in distance between obstacles, with a distinct
rollerblade feel to some of the construction work. A big easy bank covers
one whole side with a quarter fun box in the middle (very quick transitions)
and a similar bank on the other side only this one is double hipped - imagine
a half hexagon platform on top. It is definitely worth a skate, although
it is up to you if you want to go back or not. This is the sort of place
that would get very busy with any more than 5 people skating it at once.
Shops and toilets are close (both in the small shopping centre) and there
is a small amount of shade during the daylight hours.
