Ever go jetskiing in Canadian waters. I'm sure most of you haven't. If ever you're in my neck of the woods, bring your jetski and let's go play in the water.
A great place to enjoy a hot summer day is Wasaga Beach. The vastness of Nottawasaga beach and its close proximity to Toronto is an ideal place to ride. With extremely large waves on certain days, it's a blast!! This has to be one of the best party places to go on a long weekend. Just remember to book your cabin early or bring your own lodging such as a tent or a motor home. Long weekends in this small town are usually jam-packed with people of all ages from all over Ontario.
Here's a picture of our motor home. We use this to travel all over Ontario.
Another great place to jetski is Sudbury. This is my hometown. We're lucky to have an 8km lake right in the middle of our city. The shores are home to Science North, which is one of our major attractions. With the new IMAX Theatre and Virtual Voyages, you're bound to have some fun here.
Bell Park is another one of our city's beautiful attractions. Come swim at one of our many beaches in the Park. You can walk the boardwalk along the lake or take a tour on the Cortina Cruiser.
Lake Ramsey is the perfect little lake to ride your jetski. The waters are rarely rough (unless on a windy day) and there are many secluded beaches around the shores or on islands where you could beach your ski and enjoy fun in the sun with your friends. The FREE public boat launch and FREE parking is another great advantage to accessing this lake. Most marina's have a launching fee of up to $10 dollars (CND).
The surrounding areas also offer beautiful well kept parks to visit. Grab your bathing suit and jetski and come riding in Canada!
Before you decide to visit be sure to check out Sudbury's current weather conditions. Living in the North, the weather could be very unstable at times. At least we don't get hurricanes and earthquakes here.
Visit again soon...
