Welcome to the online home of Regement Winterguard of Elk River, MN.  Regement , formorly known as "Red Wave" winterguard  is educational as well as competitive striving for excellence to give each student an experience they can be proud of forever.     Regement Winterguard is a member of the North Star Circuit and is entering it's fourth year as a competitor.  The guard is two time consecutive North Star Circuit Champion.  In 1999, the guard was undefeated eventually earning a State Championship title  of the Novice Class.  In the 2000 season, Regement Winterguard went on to compete in the next level of competition by moving up a class.   The guard also took on a fresh new staff including director Bill Furnstahl, Tammy Skroch, Alison Mulaney and former guard member Kelly Curan as well as a whole new approach to the activity.  In the end, Regement won the  state champion title of  Class A Division II.  In the 2001 season, the guard once again had new staff, former members  Becky Musolf, Melissa Wistrom and Kelly Curran. The guard would take third place or higher at every show earning them third at state.  In the 2002 season, regement will strive to increase their level of excellence under the staff of  Kelly Curran and Melissa Wistrom.  This season Regement hopes to be as successful as the past years and have a great time doing it.

Regement Winterguard is comprised of volunteers from the high school as well as several area Jr High Schools who strive for excellence and work to achieve high goals set forth by the team.  Not only do they compete around the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin, but they also host their own annual competition called "Dreaming In Color".  This event brings in talent from various North Star Circuit members for an evening of excitement and competition. Proceeds from this event go toward the groups' expenses.     Regement Winterguard would like to thank the guard parents and band boosters for everything they have done.  Without them, this organization would not be possible.
