Reuters MADRID, Spain -- Italian international forward Roberto Baggio has been made an offer of a two-year contract by Barcelona, the player's agent told a Spanish newspaper. "Roberto has kept an eye on Spain and Spain has been watching him," Vittorio Petrone was reported as saying in sports daily Marca on Saturday. Petrone said that the 33-year-old player who is currently out of contract from Inter Milan has also been made an offer by Deportivo Coruna. "Roberto is considering these offers because Spanish football is on a high after its successes in last year's European competitions," said the agent. Intertoto Cup finalists Udinese are, however, favourites in the running for the Italian striker according to Petrone. "Baggio likes the team and their humility. They are based only an hour from his house and it is the club where his childhood hero Zico played." Baggio has appeared in the last three World Cup finals and has scored 160 goals in Serie A. Last month in an interview with the Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport the player made it clear that he aimed to carry on playing until the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea.
