First and above all I would like to thank all of those who visited my home-page. I hope to keep improving it as my experience and knowledge concerning this topic grows. Any suggestions about adding contents to make this page better are more than welcome, ofcourse. Since I have spent some time on the net and gained some valuable info and enjoyed it as well, this is my modest attempt to return at least a fragment of what I received - in the amount I am currently capable of...
.
During the past 6 years I have been (and still am) an avid fan of the iron sport. In the past year, my interest has shifted from bodybuilding to powerlifting, under the influence of some wonderful and un-selfish people that I had a privilege of knowing due to this media. Actually, I started weight training back in 1994 - and have been consistent since then. I started in bodybuilding clubs "Bravo", and "body-land". It was a sterile atmosphere, all shinny like, with lotsa machines. Then, due to circumstances I switched to a more under-ground type club ("Vozdovac"), with huge amounts of free weights, colorful bumper plates, rusty and thick power racks and much stronger club members. And ofcourse, a more adrenaline flowing atmosphere. Choosing between the two, I chose the later. I fell in love with the sound of plates clanging against each other and grunting beneath heavy weights, fighting to beat them. Now I have my own gym called "POWR RACK GYM"...

Why I train Westside style?

While visiting some forums on the net in search for more info, I stumbled into Bob Youngs, a Westside Barbell Club disciple. He was very generous and patient in answering my numerous questions, and the questions of many others as well. This information was very valuable, and it  helped me to start increasing my strength once again, all together with my new training enthusiasm as if  I where a rookie again. How important it is for us who seek higher levels of strength - I need not explain here. So I will use this opportunity to publicly say 'thank you' to Bob Youngs and another million 'thanks' from all the rest whom he has helped on the forum as well....

By the way, I got my un-common nickname from comrades who knew that I didn't miss a workout even in the midst of  the crude bombings executed by N.A.T.O on my hometown - Belgrade, and all over Yugoslavia. During the World War II Belgrade has been under 24 air raids, and now in 1999 it has been under attack 146 times! Just think about it for a moment...

 World Powerlifting Alliance

The Foundation Of  W.P.A Yugoslavia:

Due to this Website I've established contact with Mr. Scott Taylor, the President of  W.P.A (World Powerlifting Alliance). I was appointed as the director of  W.P.A Yugoslavia on 20th July 1999. I have also passed the referee exame with the highest grade and I was duly appointed as a W.P.A referee by Mr. Scott Taylor in 28th July 1999.

Since then, our lifters have a much larger margin to compete in!

Dear readers, I hope you will find at least one reason to visit this page again. And if  you do - you're most sincerely welcome...
