The best knee wraps out there are made by Inzer (Iron Wrap Z's) and by Crain's Muscle World.  These can be purchased in 2 meter and 2.5 meter lengths.  Check your federation for legal limits.
.
In competition, I begin wrapping one knee when the lifter ahead of me has his name called and is told that 'the bar is loaded'.  This way, by the time my knees are wrapped they are loading the bar for me.  After I stand up and get my straps pulled up and belt tightened, my name is then called, after which, I chalk my hands, take a whiff of Nose Tork and approach the bar.
.
To wrap the knees, I do as follows: Before wrapping, straighten the leg and tighten the knee cap.  I start by doing a very tight double wrap one full wrap width below the knee cap (legal limit) and start wrapping upwards, overlapping 1/2 the wrap width until one wrap width above the knee, do a double wrap there and begin a downward 1/2 overlap to below the knee and do 1 - 2 wraps back upward until about 6" of wrap remains.  Then, relax that last wrap a little, tuck the end of the wrap under and out of the last wrap, pulling tightly and release.
.
I wrap my knees at 80% and above, getting progressively tighter as the load increases.  At 95%+, I wrap them like steel so that almost NO give is left in the wrap.  Beware!  Once they're wrapped, do your set quickly because almost all blood flow to the lower legs is cut off and you will lose feeling below the knees.  Also, until used to them, you may experience bruising, slight bleeding or welts behind the knees.

reminder: "Wrap from 'in' to 'out'. This means -  counterclockwise for the left leg, clockwise for the right leg. Down below I've listed some costume and personal equipment specifications from the 'World Powerlifting Alliance' (WPA) rulebook..."

knee wraps: must not exceed 6.9 feet length or 3 inches wideth. Elasticized knee caps may be worn. A combination of the two is forbidden! IRONWRAPS enable you to lift more than ever before! A leap ahead in powerlifting knee wrap technology!

IRONWRAPS Z stores a very dense, propulsive energy that produces more power than any knee wrap ever before!

Everything about this wrap exceeds any previous wrap.

VERY, VERY POWERFUL!

"I've tried every knee wrap ever made and the Ironwrap far out-performs them all."
Louie Simmons

IRONWRAPS A are super comfortable. Very big support, especially behind your knees for explosive rebounds out of the bottom of the squat. Like squatting on a cloud. It's amazing how Ironwraps provide so much powerful support to be so comfortable!
