Very smooth ride with nice handling . Crank has held up fine . Brakes stop you on a dime . Suggest you get new bars . Less expensive version of the gold-medal Slammer ($831 US) . For the $400 I save I can buy a Kick-ass crank and better bars . 2000 Detour -Good frame design , but bottom bracket is in an awkward location (under down tube) -grind pegs -steel 44T 1/8" chainring -Alex MX22 rims -Dyno Hoop-D tires 60 psi -GT straight seatpost -Flatland seat -GT 3pc. crank (unsealed . trustme , It is crap) -Dyno 2pc. bars -GT piston stem -pac-man fork 1 1/8" -Dia Comp 994 brakes -Dia-Comp mx101 levers -GT Kraton Grips -Oryg gyro 1 1/8" -GT new platform peddles Overall Verdict - OK ride for $400 but feels weird riding 60psi . 3pc. is unsealed and I've been told it is not very strong . Brakes suck . PERIOD needs better bars . not enough top tube room |
