The Editor Well, I'm just your average social skier, with a very keen interest in ski racing. I started skiing about 4 years ago and have enjoyed it ever since. Myself and a few friends ski behind an old Lewis ('76 model we think, but not really sure) running a 350ci chev (just had a re-build). The boat has been a bit of a problem since it was purchase about 2 years ago, with more head gasket and cooling problems than you can count, but seems to be running strong, currently undergoing some minor prop shaft renovations. Ski racing for me is something I am really keen to get into, but at the moment funds won't allow it and no one is willing to lend me their boat so I can learn the ropes. So I guess I'll have to save up the pennies and buy my own race boat. Then all I have to do is find someone to drive it for me. Enjoy your stay! Daniel McCurtayne |
