Old News Articles Gods Gift Sinks During Mildura 100 8/4/99 After competing in the Dash for Cash on Saturday, the team decided to try out some propellers. During one of the practice runs, the propeller threw a blade and broke through the hull, causing the boat to barrel roll & sink to the bottom of the muddy Murray. Driver Graham Richie was thrown out at high speed and although escaping serious injury, he was kept in Mildura Base Hospital overnight for observation. The boat was pulled from the water on Saturday night. What was the once beautiful God's Gift, has now been described as having "major damage" & being, "a total wreck". With God's Gift out, the crowd had to go without one of their favourite entries on the Sunday. World Barefoot Videos Now Available! Aussie Skiers Wanted in USA to teach at Ski Schools! McGinnis Ski School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is seeking driver/instructors for the 1999 summer season (May-October). Applicants must be able to drive Ski Nautiques or comparable boats and instruct from beginner to advanced slalom. Driver/Instructor skiing ability should be able to run short line slalom at 34 or 36 mph. Wakeboarders/trickers must be intermediate to advanced (i.e. flips, raleys etc). Applicants should have some ski school experience even though this is not necessary. All applicants must be over 21.
