October 9: We came here fresh off of Talent, and we thought we couldn't find a better one. Boy were we wrong. It's only better than Talent because is has so much more stuff. Everything it's got is usable (except for the bank pyramid, but we'll talk about that later). The stuff may not be perfect in any real way, but they are still usable. The skateboarders kept mostly to the huge bowl, which was fine by me because I was in love with the 4' pool style bowl/spine and street area. The things people did here were intense. A 30 year old guy on rollerblades was handplanting the big bowl, and one skateboarder was going huge out of the bowl, at least 5'! There was a full tranny "pyramid" that I loved, plus a great funbox that was all ledges. This is a must stop.
Bathrooms: Yes
Drinking Fountain: Yes
Landscape: Trees off to one side
Other: None
Coping: Metal ledges, coping on everything, chopped cement coping in the large bowl, still really nice.
Jumps: Bowl goes to vert, plenty of jumps in street area.
Crowds: Generally cool, a bit packed but you'll get your turn, a few jerks but not very many.
Special: Snake run, 4' bowl that spines into the street area, huge 8'-10' bowl, sweet fun box.
Directions: On I-5, take Oregon exit 14. Hang a right on Montana St., then take a left on Hersey. Take a left onto Water St. and the park will be right there on the left.
