The first time I visited this place, all I could think was "this sucks!" Kinked transitions on all of the quarter pipes, an unclearable pyramid, no coping except stuck up in a corner where you couldn't get at it, and a fun box that could have been cool with coping. It had some nice ideas, but it was horribly put together.
October 31: After visiting Sea-Tac, some of my friends wanted to see Des Moines even after I told them how bad it is. They insisted, so I took them there. They quickly agreed, but I slightly changed my tune. It turns out that the pyramid is clearable and is kind of fun, except that you immediatly go into the grass and the only way to stop is to crash into a fence, but it's funner than I first thought. If the transitions weren't kinked and the funbox had coping, I think I'd like this place better. But as it stands now, I still don't like it, but it's better than Enumclaw. I'd recommend a quick stop to see it if you're going to Sea-Tac anyways.
