Norpoint, in NE Tacoma, is a crappy-assed park. It has a halfpipe that spines to absolutely nothing. The spined size has a huge kink that kills your speed nicely and the other side is as mellow as the big Redmond bowl, making it almost impossible to reach the coping. The only decent looking thing was the launch box with rail, which was nice for a launch. However, this park is so hard to find that it's just not worth it.
Coping: I couldn't tell ya, you really can't get to it
Jumps: The only thing here was the launch ramp
Transitions: Crappy. either super-kinked or super-mellow
Crowds: Not packed at all
Special: Nothing
Drinks: Nothing
Bathrooms: Nothing
Landscape: Open
Other: Nothing
Directions: Take I-5 to Exit 137 (Fife/Milton). Head North until you reach Marine View Dr. Follow it quite a ways until you reach Slayden Rd. Take a right and follow it. It will become 51st St then it will become Northshore Parkway. Take a right on Norpoint Way, the park will be on your left. As a warning, Norpoint Way appears and disappears several times (that's why we got lost so many times). Do not take Norpoint way from Marine View Dr, it will become a dead end. If you find Norpoint way going to the left (off of 51st St) then it will take you on a long detour. If you get lost, it's near the "Center of Norpoint" (you can ask directions to there). This park is a bitch to find if you don't have directions and really isn't worth the trouble.
