- Jesse Ventura will make a guest appearance on the next RAW. The Millenium countdown will also expire on the next RAW. Lucas addressed the internet posts that have concluded the timer runs out at 10PM. He says that it will actually end at 9PM, at the start of RAW.

- Lucas discusses D'Lo winning the Intercontinental belt from Jeff Jarrett on RAW, and how D'Lo now has two belts.

- Chris Jericho will make his first appearance at Titan Towers in Stamford, Connecticut, this Thursday. WWF crews will obviously follow him around to get inside scoops about his involvement with the WWF. Lucas reiterates how big a star Jericho is going to be.

- Someone had emailed Lucas asking the whereabouts of L.O.D., Hawk and Animal, and DOA, Skull and 8-Ball. Lucas says D.O.A. was recently released. Animal is coming off back surgery, and when he's physically ready to return to ring action, the WWF will evaluate the two for any upcoming roles.

Report of Shane and Stephanie McMahon on TSN's Off The Record

Landsberg asked what it was like growing up in the McMahon family. Shane said that know one will never understand what it's like. They are always so close to each other, 24 hours a day.

Shane was asked what he thought about his father being critized. Shane said he was angry about it, and people never will understand their family. He said the McMahons are always going to be solid. Stephanie added that the media never talks about the good stuff he does.

Shane critized the media for exploiting the JFK tragedy.

Stephanie says the media has changed. She talked about one guy who said Vince was worst than Hannibal the Cannibal. She said Vince asked asked that guy to come to the Titan offices and meet his family then make his descion. But the guy was so yellow, and did not want to come.

Both attended the University of Boston.

They were asked if they both always wanted to enter the wrestling business. Shane said it was always his dream since he was 2 years old. Shane always watned to be the tag team partner of Andre the Giant.

Michael asked if them if their characters on TV resemble them in real life. Shane said he is nothing like his character on TV. Landsberg then asked Stephanie would she ever date a wrestler. She said she would, but it would be in the companies best interest if she did not.

Landsberg asked Shane how he would combat the stereotype of being the boss' son. How he gets all the advantages in life. Shane said he does not, there is nothing wrong with a father helping his son. He said it should always be like that.

Landsberg asked Stephanie what she would do when she got control of the company. She said she would take the WWF as far as it would go. There is no direction they won't go.

Shane said why should the WWF be just about wrestling, they can expand into all fields. Stephanie brought up that that WWF: Volume 3 got as high as #6 on the billboard rankings.

Quirky Fact: WWF Superstar Stephanie McMahon's WWF on camera debut was at a Rowday Roddy Piper Halloween party.

Landsberg asked what they both did inside the company. Shane said he runs the internet division. Stephanie said she is a account excutive in New York. It's her job to bring in as many advertising clients as possible.

Shane talked about the internet. Shane said we take their idea, through chats and Message Boards.

Landsberg asked Stephanie, would she ever object to anything she is asked to do. She said she has yet to get to that point.

Landsberg said she is truley a McMahon, because she didn't really give a proper answer.

Shane said his father is a tough dude.

Stephanie was asked if she would wrestler. She said she didn't mind, but is currently not slated to do so.

For the 38th consecutive week, WWF Raw Is War won the Monday Night Ratings War. On Monday, August 2, 1999, WWF Raw Is War drew a 5.9 rating with a 9.4 share based on a 5.8 for Raw and a 5.9 for the Warzone for a show taped from the Jerome Schottenstein Center in Columbus, OH. The rating is down considerably from last week's 7.1 composite, but the ratings for both shows are down this week. The Raw Is War rating is also a decline in the program's five-week ratings average, which was a 6.4 going into this week. The quarter hour breakdown for Raw Is War went 4.9, 5.7, 6.4, 6.3, 6.7, 5.6, 5.3, 6.0, and 6.2 for the overrun featuring a wild brawl between all of the top WWF superstars. All numbers have been rounded to the nearest tenth.

WCW Monday Nitro emanated live from the sold out Sioux Falls Arena in Sioux Falls, SD on Monday night, August 2, 1999. Nitro drew a dismal 3.1 composite rating with a 5.0 share based on a 3.6 for hour one, a horrid 2.4 for hour two, and a 3.2 for hour three. This week's rating is a decline in Nitro's five-week ratings average, which was a 3.4 going into last night. The quarter hour breakdown for Nitro went 3.3, 3.3, 3.5, 4.1, 2.6, 2.1, 2.2, 2.6, 2.6, 3.4, 3.4, 2.9, and 4.0 for the overrun featuring the end of Sting/Goldberg vs. Sid/Steiner. All numbers have been rounded to the nearest tenth.

In the head-to-head hours from 9:00pm - 11:05pm ET, WWF Raw Is War defeated WCW Monday Nitro by more than three full ratings points. WWF Raw Is War drew a 5.85 rating while WCW only managed a 2.80 rating. Ouch!

WWF Sunday Night Heat on Sunday, August 1, 1999, also taped from the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, OH, drew a 4.1 composite rating with an 8.0 share. The rating is the same as last week's number. Heat also helped other USA Network programming as G vs. E, Pacific Blue (guest starring Shawn Michaels), and La Femme Nikita all drew 2.2 ratings following Heat on Sunday night.

In other weekend ratings, WWF Livewire on Saturday morning, July 31, 1999 drew a 1.9 rating with a 6.4 share. WWF Superstars on Sunday morning, August 1, 1999 drew a 1.7 rating with a 5.4 share. The rating for WCW Saturday Night on Saturday, July 31, 1999 is currently unavailable. In case you missed it, WCW Thunder on Thursday, July 29, 1999, taped from Moline, IL, drew a 2.8 composite with a 5.1 share based on a 2.5 for hour one and a 3.1 for hour two.
