Here are a few pictures from Medicine Wheel 4 at CFB Suffield, Alberta.
Three of us drove in from Vancouver to launch my two stage bird. Saturday the 29th yielded
poor weather but blue skies on Sunday enabled us to fly before we had to return home. The
calculated altitude was over 20,000 feet and I'm sure it was mighty close to the predictions.
There's a great liftoff shot of the rocket clearing (and torching) the tower under the thrust of
the mighty L1120. I have no other pictures of the rocket in flight, but it staged perfectly to the
K700 and just kept going. The booster was a little toasty when it came back, but all in all a great
flight. A year's worth of work came together perfectly.
Many thanks to all who helped out,
Allen
