Notes:

  1. Pack 1 each T shirt, undershorts, and socks in sealed plastic bag so they stay dry until needed
  2. Day pack is to hold merit badge books, scout book, notebook, pen(s), towel, etc and taken during the day from activity to activity
  3. Personal first aid kit should have bandages and first aid cream, the troop will have the troop first aid kit and camp has a nurse and a first aid center
  4. $5 to $10 is usually enough for candy and ice cream at the trading post, it you are taking wood carving or basketry or Indian lore you will need up to $20 to purchase the necessary kits
  5. Duffle bag should be large enough to carry everything except sleeping bag, pad, and pillow
  6. Sleeping is on metal cots in two man platform tents or in lean-tos.
  7. We will collect the Class 1 medical forms before leaving for camp.
  8. The troop library has many (but perhaps not all) of the merit badge books that the boys will need. Merit badge books can be purchased at the trading post (about $3 each), or at Bob's or the coucil scout shop before going.
