KWC S&W M4525 This was the second airsoft gun I purchased. I got it at a shop called Bristish Sports in London when iw as there with my Dad on business. I had never been in an actual airsoft shopp before, and must have spent an hour looking at their modest stock of springers and gas pistols. After looking at several Spring-Powered pistols, mostly made by KWC, I finally decided on the S&W M4525. This is a curious gun. I have yet to find any listing of its Real Steel version and have never seen an advertisement for it on the net. Nevertheless, for all its faults, I still love it dearly. Appearance: Never having seen the real version, I cannot say whether it is super-realistic or not. The finish is rather plastic looking, it being made of plastic and all. It has rubber grips and Smith and Wesson markings on the slide. It comes with the standard S&W trigger guard and has a cosmetic hammer which makes dry firing fun. It has a non-opening silver ejection port, which gives the gun a nice look. The magazine is the stick kind, but that doesn't bother me too much. It has a nice, satisfying click when inserted. It has a strange "feature" though. It seems to load two BBs into a chamber when you load it, so if you eject the clip before it is empty, two BBs come rattling out. But who takes a full clip out anyway? Performance: This section is gonna be weak for the most part. Most of my encounters are close-range, so I just point it at my target and squeeze. At that range, missing is hard to do. This gun seems to be accurate. it doesn't fire incredibly hard, but, then again, I'm not here to permanenetly damage anyone's skin, just goof off, so it works pretty well. Negative Points: I'm a pretty picky person, so when it comes to the negative points, I'm gonna take up some space. First, the slide is a little loose. This is quite common it seems in springers, and it is not bad on this particular gun, but still somewhat noticeable. The grips are a little loose too, but when you are squeezing it you can't tell. The only thing that really gets to me about all airsoft guns is the rattling which seemingly is very usual. The rattle isn't too bad on the M4525, only really sounds when moved to quickly, but this is a facor when relying on stealth. Price: Picked this guy up in London at British Sports for 35 Pounds. Is this a good deal? Beats the shit outta me. I was just excited as hell to get one. |

This isn't an actual M4525, but a M645. The looks are similar, although this one looks a little nicer and silver. | ||||||||||
