KINGSVILLE, MD – Hangover United still kept their undefeated season alive Sunday with leisurely stroll out to the county in Kingsville, MD. Hangover went on to work, roll, route, drub, stuff… (pick your adjective), final score was 9-0 (and that was on the low side of things). Some terrific play from the whole of Hangover lead to unlimited chances against the Kingsville defense. Terrific midfield play and passing was just too much for the Kingsville side. “We took our offense off the field at the 60 minute mark replacing our strikers with our goalkeeper and sweeper, but the chances still kept coming” said player/assistant manager Tom Burgoon. “They were frustrated they could not handle us and basically gave up playing defense.” Hangover were accused of foul play and abusive behavior after the match, although there was NOT one yellow card issued during the entire match. “Its was a case of sour grapes and this side basically gave up. Hey just because they stopped playing the match doesn’t mean we should. Come out and play 90 minutes or don’t bother coming out at all” player/manager Chris King added.  

The goal recaps were too many to recall. Goal tallies were as follows: John Jenkins 5 goals / 2 assists, Danny Gerbasi   2 goals / 0 assists, Aron Shea 1 goal / 2 assists, Jon Pitonzo 1 goal / 1 assist, Ben Hinceman 1 assist, Chris Hastings 1 assist, Butch Santucci 1 assist.

Hangover next take on Peninsula United in a make-up of the Week #3 make-up match on Tuesday November 11th at 7:00 PM at Utz Field in Patterson Park.
