My First Jump

Arrived at the Drop Zone exactly 8:30 in the morning with my friends, we're
very much excited, picture taking is fun, we checked our scheduled
on the board, just two more take-offs.
We hanged with the harhness, instructed for emergency situation,
"job left, job right", followed by Dirt Dive. You can see all the smiles
in our faces, watched some flare from the Experienced jumper from
Hong Kong, you can feel the adrenalin running on their veins shouting
"that's a case of beer"
Refueling the plane while we prepared our gear to wear, checked
the AAD if enabled, after several checks, instructed to board on the plane,
when the plane was ready for to take-off, all smiles on our faces suddenly
faded away, my heart beat fast as we reached the 4000 (5000 sea level)
and I am the first jumper. "On the door!", the Jumpmaster yelled at me
while pointing the door. "Who me?" , I replied, "Yes you!" the jumpmaster
in much louder voice, well I got no choice, besides I'm the one who encouraged
my two friends to jump. "Can you spot the DZ?", the Jumpmaster pointed at
the ground, I nodded without looking the ground, it's windy and cold but my
goggles is moistened by my cold sweats. I'm half excited and half nervous.
"Ready?", the Jumpmaster shouted at the front of my face his saliva landed
on my face, I nodded again and tried to cool down. "GO!", another shout that
pushed me to jumped out, tried to form a good arch, and counting one thousand
......two thousands.....three thousands..... four thou..and I see a colorfull rectangular
canopy over my head. " WOW!', what a cool feeling, and they're right that was
the longest four seconds of my entire life. Grabbing my toggles, Okay
controlability check, turn left, turn right, half brake....all fine, and watching
my friends jumping out and deploying their canopies. "whoooahh".
Viewing Mt. Makiling and Taal Volcano in a birds eyeview is really fun
and preparing a landing at 1000 is fun too, opposing the wind direction,
then a Swoop Landing at 30km/ph speed is not bad.
Thanks to the crew and staffs of Skydive Fiesta Island.
