Jason: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to SUNDAY NIGHT SLAM DANCE! We want to thank you all to the Cajun Dome here in TEXAS! We've got what I think is a great card lined up for you all, but first we have the results of a couple matches that occured before the cameras turned on this evening.

Sara Anne: Thats right Jason, First we saw Pagan keep his, heh, "Undefeated" streak intact as he defeated Wulf....

Brian: I think Pagan is starting to get old-timers....

Jason: Don't you mean Alzheimers?

Brian: That's what I said, Oldtimers.....He doesn't seem to remember his losses from the last time he was in NEW...

SaraAnne: Yeah? You name ONE....

Brian: Well....okay....There was......I know there was someone, I just cant remember right now, no fair putting me on the spot like that!

SaraAnne: Sounds like someone ELSE is getting alzheimers...

Jason: Anyways, we also saw a Triple Threat Match featuring the new comer American Hero facing off against two NEW veterans ...Nightstalker and Prince Of Darkness.... Brian: And lo-and-behold, American Hero pulls off yet ANOTHER upset victory...

Jason: That he did....And that vicotry immediately puts him in the running for gold, as he is now the #1 Contendor for the International title....

SaraAnne: It will be a little more than an "Upset" if he manages to defeat Pagan next week and take that belt!

Brian: It will NEVER HAPPEN!!! Pagan would never get caught napping on the job like POD and Nightstalker did tonight!

Jason: Next up we're going to have.....

(The ring lights suddenly turn off in the arena. When they come back on, The STRIP is standing in the ring.)

Strip: Last week, the DWO interrupted my attempt to win the NEW title, or at least to beat the hell out of Deadman in the process. Now, at first, I was quite angry, until I realized that I was just a cog in the machine. Joey Rival came to me and told me that it wasn't personal, but that the people who run NEW didn't really give two craps about me. He told me that they knew Blackbird's plans. He told me that I should join the DWO, because they hate the Horsemen and because the people who run NEW are The Horsemen anyway and that since I would never get a title shot again, because I have no "heat", whatever that is, I should join NEW and become rich and famous in the proces ... so, I do, I join the DWO - I will be part of the war on the Horsemen, the war that I started but they came to help out on.

STRIP is DWO.

(The lights flash off and then on again - STRIP is gone.)

Jason: Wow...Well The Strip has just made it obvious which side he takes in the Horsemen/DWO fued....

SaraAnne: Well thats one more mark in the DWOs favor...

Brian: Like it will make a difference! The Strip has been in such a slump lately, I don't even know if DWO will want him!

Jason: Well The Strip has been heard saying that he feels the Front Office in NEW is out to get him, and thats why he's been so behind....We'll just have to see...But right now we have another match...Sara would you do the honors??

SaraAnne: Next up we've got Carl Knox taking on Joey Rival for a shot at the North Eastern title!

One thing / I don’t know why

It doesn’t even matter how hard you try

Keep that in mind / I designed this rhyme

To explain in due time

All I know ….

Jason: Tonight is the renewal of what could be called a rivalry. Joey Rival will be facing Carl Knox. Rival has been frustrated by Knox every time they have fought before.

Brian: That's right Jason, but Rival has been getting better and better since he debuted here in NEW, remember, he was tag team champs with Deadman, and I think that pairing could do nothing but help his skills and in-ring thought processes.

(Joey looks around to get the crowd pumped)

Sarah: Don't forget, now, that Rival has aligned himself with Blackbird 13, Shawn Temp and Wulf as the reborn DWO. We've seen their practice sessions, now we'll see what came out of them for Rival.

(Joey Climbs in the ring and waits for the bell. )

Jason: This is match for a shot at the Northeastern Title, held currently by Nightstalker. And now, Rival's greatest rival.

("I Show You How To Do This Son" by JayZ blasts over the P.A. as Carl Knox walks very calmly, with his head down towards the ting....Half way to the ring raises his hand in the air and pyro begins to go off....)

Brian: And there's the bell.

Jason: The two dance around one another, Knox swiping his arm to try to get Rival, Rival dancing away.

Brian: Knox outweighs Rival by about 50 pounds, so Rival better keep dancing.

Sarah: Oh! Knox has a hold on Rival – whipping him to the ropes – goes for a clothesline, Rival ducks – back of the ropes, flying forearm to Knox's face,

Jason: But Knox is still up. Rival hits him with another forearm, another, a..

Brian: Knox blocks it, slaps Rival in the side of the head, Rival falls and rolls out of the ring. Knox is checking his jaw. Rival is shaking it off.

Sarah: Good first exchange, neither man getting a clear advantage.

Jason: Rival back in the ring, they lock up. Rival goes behind Knox, goes for a German suplex … Knox won't go, his balance is too good and .. he's a bigger man.

Brian: Rival lets go, Knox turns around and swings, Rival ducks and goes behind and kicks Knox in the butt.

Sarah: Knox turns around, he looks pissed.

Jason: Rival bounces off the ropes, going for another forearm smash – Knox catches him!

Brian: Bodyslam by the big man. Rival arches his back. That had to hurt.

Sarah: Knox rolls him over – elbow drop to the back. He's working toward that sharpshooter.

Jason: Knox mounts Rival's back, pulling on his chin, wearing him down.

Brian: … and Rival reaches the ropes. The ref is counting for Knox to break the chinlock.

* four, five *

Sarah: And Knox breaks the hold. OWW, a stomp to the back of Rival. Rival rolls out of the ring.

Jason: I don't think that anyone was laying it to him like that at his house this week.

Brian: Rival has been out for a while, maybe his ring rust is just too much to overcome.

Sarah: Forget ring rust, he'll need to beat out pain to win this one. He is still favoring that back, just walking around the ring.

Jason: Rival, up the stairs ahead of the ref's count. Knox stands back, greeting his return.

Brian: Rival, through the ropes – Knox charges him – Rival sidesteps the big man. Kicks to the legs of Knox, but Rival stops and stumbles back – that's right, his back.

Sarah: Knox isn't coming right out of the corner, looks like he's rubbing his right knee.

Jason: Yes, Rival injured himself AND Knox. Rival may be at an advantage, now, though, he should still be speedier than Knox.

Brian: Knox stalks out of the corner. Just like the beginning, these two are dancing like they were ten minutes ago.

Sarah: More like a waltz than the Clown Walk.

Jason: Rival launches off the ropes, clothesline – Knox goes down, he was bracing himself with the wrong leg.

Brian: Rival goes for Knox's leg – axe handle, elbow drop – Rival goes for a single-leg crab, stretching out the right knee of Knox.

Sarah: … Knox grabs the rope, but I think Rival did some damage.

Jason: Knox is standing up, Rival from the second rope – flying headscissors. Knox is down again, Rival is standing near him – Knox is up – headscissors again by Rival.

Brian: Rival rubs his back, but he's going to the top rope. Knox is up – Rival going for a hurricanrana.

Sarah: Knox catches him – lifting Rival up for a powerbomb – and down! But Knox didn't land it quite right.

Jason: Looked to me like Knox's knee gave out on the way down, too. Both men are hurting.

Brian: Knox is up first. He's got Rival's legs , turning him over -

Sarah: Rival starts kicking , but Knox gets him over, Rival's back is going to be the end of him.

Jason: Rival pushes up.

Brian: That never works!

Sarah: Knox falls down, holding his knee. Rival lies there, holding his back.

Jason: Rival is up first, Knox is on his knees.

Brian: Rival off the ropes – SHININGWIZARD!

Sarah: Knox is down – pin attempt by Rival.

*one *

* two*

Jason: Kickout by Knox.

rian: Rival goes for a Figure Four – Knox pushes him off, into the corner – Rival hits his head against the turnbuckle. He's stunned.

Sarah: Knox gets up quickly, still favoring that right leg. He goes down to one knee – Rival comes toward him.

Jason: Low blow by Knox! Knox stands, hooks Rival for a powerbomb – ONE powerbomb, he's picking him up for a second.

Brian: Rival shifts his weight - Knox's knee can't take it – Rival lands on Knox's face as Knox lands on his back .

Sarah: Rival is straddling Knox's throat, he grabs Knox's right leg .

*one *

*two *

Jason: Knox kicks out. Rival pops up. He's leaning, ready for Knox. Knox is up – RIVAL RACK!

Brian: NO! Rival drops Knox, his back couldn't hold.

Sarah: Knox moves in with a Boston Crab, Rival screams out.

Jason: The ref is asking Rival if he gives up, he shakes his head "NO".

Brian: Rival slips a leg out of Knox's armpit, Knox falls to the side and lets go of the other leg.

Sarah: Knox is getting up again, Rival rolls over, I on his knees – Knox starts to set for what looks like another powerbomb -

Jason: Rival hooks Knox's head, Small Package.

*one *

Brian: THREE!!!

Sarah: Joey Rival has pulled off a big upset. He rolls out of the ring, holding his back with one hand his other hand raised in victory.

(Joseph moves to the announcers and grabs a mic.)

Joseph: Take your shot Carl, I don't really need it that bad.

(Joseph throws the mic down and walks away.)

Brian: WHAT AN IDIOT!!!!

Jason: Joey Rival wins a shot at the N.E. Title and just throws it away! What is he thinking??

SaraAnne: He must have bigger fish to fry!!

Brian: Like what? The World Title?? He can't hold a match to Deadman!!

Jason: Speaking of the Champ, here's one of his stablemates taking on a member of DWO....Here's Thanatos taking on Shawn Temp...

(The first few cords of "Immortal" by Adema plays, and the lights dim. Sky blue lights flicker, and the crowd cheers. The lights explode on, with....)

Let's FIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!!!!!!!!

(Shawn Temp Walks out, onto the stage. He looks around in the crowd, and soaks in all of the cheers. He is wearing a pair of Black 30 inch wide JNCOs.)

We're face to face

Loyalty is what I need to see from you

You're insecure

I can see the fear that breeds in your heart

Where will you run? Where will you hide?

I see the look drift from your eyes

Who will survive? Let's get it on

And we'll fight

Sarah: Shawn Temp, former NEW champion, the last time we saw him, he was fighting down the aisle with Prince of Darkness and getting counted out. He was quitting the sport.

Brian: But something brought him back, Blackbird 13, The Horsemen, his return made last week, as he was part of a four-on-one attack on Deadman, during a title defense against STRIP.

(Temp backflips off, and Hops onto the opposite turnbuckle. With the crowd cheering him on.)

Jason: Yes, and here comes the man who's going to try to right the wrong of that attack.

("Breadfan", by Metallica, Thanatos takes his spot on the ramp, then starts down it)

Brian: Thanatos, another former NEW champion, but a man, who despite his character flaws, doesn't look for the easy way out of a match. You don't see him attacking people from behind.

Jason: We'll see about that. I think that you can sneak attack someone politically, just as well as in the ring. Why do you think Temp isn't in the Hall of Fame?

(Thanatos walks up the steps and enters the ring through the ropes.)

Sarah: He's staring a hole through Temp – like a rage that has been building to now.

* ding ding *

Brian: And there's the bell.

Jason: Temp and Thanatos approach eachother, they are nose to nose.

Sarah: Thanatos pushes Temp off – Temp catches his balance and smiles – They lock up!

Brian: Thanatos turns the lock up into a headlock , he's wrenching Temp's head.

Jason: Temp trying to push him off, but Thanny holds on – his twisting at the waist to wrench Temp's neck.

Sarah: Thanny's twisting, he lets go – HA, Temp jabbed Thanatos in the ribs and got free. Temp's laughing and Thanatos is furious. Temp wiggles his fingers at Thanny.

Brian: Temp and Thanatos lock up again, Temp gets a side headlock, then turns it into an arm bar, he's jumping to wrench the elbow.

Jason: Thanatos is leading Temp around the ring, trying to get free.

Sarah: Temp trips Thanatos, down face first for the big man, like a Russian Leg Sweep. Thanny sneers, Temp smiles. Temp is whispering something in Thanatos' ear.

Brian: Headbutt to Temps' jaw. Thanatos slips Temp's grasp and gets on his back, riding him with a chicken wing of his own.

*arrrgh *

Jason: Thanatos is using his strength to really wrench it in on Temp.

Sarah: Ahh, Thanatos raises both legs up, pushes off, still holding the chicken wing. Knee to Temp's arm. And again.

Brian: Because of his size, people mistake Thanatos for being a straight power wrestler, but he is a technical master.

Jason: Temp is crying out in pain, this is really going to wear him down.

Sarah: Thanatos is working Temp's arm...but Temp made it to the ropes, and now, Temp is on the defense, with only one arm to use

Brian: Thanatos is grining and following slowly...Temp is having trouble getting away, bouncing off the ropes. Oh quick thinking – Temp dropkicks Thanatos' legs and rolls out of the ring.

Jason: He's slapping his arm, trying to get the blood going.

Sarah: The ref is counting …

*six *

*seven *

Brian: Temp rolls back into the ring. Thanatos crashes down on his back with a double axe handle.

Jason: Thanatos picks Temp up, whips him into the ropes, GATES TO HADES -

Sarah: No, Temp ducks it, stops. ICED OUT!

Brian: Thanatos is down from Temp's superkick/heelkick! Temp goes for the pin.

Sarah: KICKOUT! Thanatos hustles back up, punches Temp in the arm, immediate arm bar.

Brian: Looks like Thanatos isn't sure what to do next -

Jason: A symptom of two boots to the old noggin Brian.

Sarah: Arm whip – Temp off the ropes – Clothesline by Thanny.

Brian: He picks Temp back up – Bodyslam! Boot to the head. Temp is stunned.

Jason: Looks like another whip to the ropes – NO! Short arm clothesline!

Sarah: He's setting Temp up for the neck and back wrenching Eternal Damnation.

Brian: Thanny is calling for the Gateway to Hades.

Jason: Arm whip – Temp rolls under the lariat – front leg sweep, Thanatos goes down -

Sarah: Temp is running on fumes, but he's really moving quickly. Rolling Thunder by Temp – Right across Thanatos' back.

Brian: Temp is winded, Thanatos is slow to rise.

Jason: Temp is pulling himself up by the ropes – going for the corner, to the top rope - SHATTERED DREAM

Sarah:OHH and a miss!

Brian: Temp's were the only shattered dreams for that one. He's hurting.

Jason: Thanatos was gone before launch, Temp was going for that no matter what.

Sarah: Thanatos is up

Brian: He's waiting for Temp with that arm up for Purgatory.

Sarah: Thanatos charges – CONNECTS!

Sara: Thanatos Wins!!!!

Brian: What a match, a great win!

Jason: Next up we have our Main Event! Keeping in line with the Horsmen/DWO matches we've had tonight, here are probably the most controversial characters in both stables....Deadman's actions leading up to his joining the Horsemen got more than just a few people upset with him, while Blackbird's sudden return to NEW to head his brainchild, the DWO, has got more than a few people scratching their heads....

Brian: Blackbird is a moron and Deadman is a genious...

Sara: I can't tell who to like and who to hate...

("Angel Boy" by Tim McGraw plays as Blackbird 13 steps through the entryway, to a mixed crowd reaction. Nightfall by his side, they walk down the ramp and Blackbird gets into the ring, awaiting the beginning of the match.)

Jason: Here's Blackbird, now here comes the champ...

("Death Blooms" begins to play as a long path of smoke relieved by a hint of midnight blue prolongs down the ramp. Deadman emerges from behind the curtain as he slowly walks towards the ring. Ignoring the boos, he stops in front of the squared circle, and looks up at the house lights, before walking up the ring steps and over the top rope. Deadman positions himself in the center of the ring and instantaneously shoots his arms up from his sides as a bang causes the lights to turn on.)

Jason: Both men circle the ring as the bell rings....They seem to be sizing each other up...

Brian: You mean Blackbird is sizing up Deadman!! Blackbird isn't a small guy but he's dwarfed by the 7'4 giant Deadman....

Jason: A quick armbar applied by Blackbird, and into a quick hammerlock.....

SaraAnne: Blackbird is going to have to keep a somewhat fast pace if he's planning on beating Deadman tonight...

Jason: Thats right Sara....Blackbird pulls Deadman into a side headlock.....There's not many people in NEW, if any at all, who can match Deadman for sheer power.... Brian: NEW? Try the world! He's just a massive man!

Jason: Deadman pulls Blackbird against the ropes and sends him off to the other side.....Blackbird comes back with a shoulder block...Deadman staggers but doesn't go down! Blackbird bounces off the ropes and comes back with another shoulder block, but Deadman see's it coming and uses Blackbird's momentum to send him clear out of the ring over the top rope!!

Brian: Great move by Deadman!!

SaraAnne: Dirty tricks all over the place....

Jason: Blackbird is a little slow to his feet as Deadman looks around at the booing crowd....Blackbird cautiously slides into the ring and stands up....And again they circle...

Brian: They're gonna give it another go I guess...

SaraAnne: Blackbird's not stupid enough to fall for that again...I think...

Jason: A lockup again, this time it's Deadman with the side headlock! He's wrenching on Blackbird's neck as Blackbird fights back to the ropes...He pushes Deadman off and Deadman comes back with a shoulder block that sends Blackbird to the mat! Deadman off the ropes, steps over the rolling Blackbird, and comes back to be met with a HIPTOSS by Blackbird....Deadman scrambles to his feet and is met with an ARM DRAG!! Deadman back up again and is met with a kick to the stomach, and OH MY! Blackbird picks up the big man and slams him with a bodyslam!!! Blackbird felt that one and so did Deadman!!

Brian: How did he do that??

SaraAnne: Leverage...Kinda like what your ex-wife used to get your house, car, and children...

Jason: Blackbird off the ropes and back with a quick legdrop....Deadman slowly moves to get up as Blackbird gives a quick shout to the crowd....

Brian: Don't waste any time Blackbird!! You'll regret it.....

Jason: We'll see about that....Blackbird runs in for a clothesline, NO! Back body drop by Deadman!!

Brian: Deadman and Blackbird are having a great match here, Blackbird doesn't seem to have the rust I thought he would.

SaraAnne: Well, those intra-DWO training matches at Rival's house must really be something.

Brian: Wait, look who's coming down the ramp, it's The Strip and he's DWO!

Jason: Strip has a pipe in his hand.

Sara: Deadman tasted pipe last week, too!.

Brian: Strip disappeared, where did he go?

Jason: He's kneeling near the ring, waiting for something.

Sara: Clothesline by Deadman who goes to taunt the crowd as Blackbird slowly makes his way to his feet.

Brian: His back is to Strip, Strip is sliding beneath the bottom rope.

Jason: Strip knocks down the ref with a shove, he's got that pipe high in the air ...

Sara: Wait, he doesn't hit Deadman!!! But he's beating on Blackbird!! Blackbird is busted open!!

Brian: He just said earlier he was in DWO, now he's taking out one of the DWO members??

Jason: Strip wiped his hand in the blood, he's holding up four fingers to Deadman .. NOW FIVE! He's holding up five fingers on that bloody hand to Deadman. He rolls out of the ring, taking the pipe with him.

Sara: The ref is getting up, he didn't see any of this.

Brian: Typical.

Jason: The ref asking Deadman what happened, but Deadman is as confused as the ref....

Brian: And here, Always the oppurtunist, Deadman drapes himself over the unconcious Blackbird....

Jack Darling: Your winner, DEADMAN!

(Just before Deadman's theme song plays, Joseph W. Rival III W. Rival emerges on the stage holding a microphone to his mouth .)

Joseph W. Rival III: Woah, woah, woah, woah, WOAH… Wait just a second Deadman…

Jason: What's this all about?

(Deadman kneels, wiping the sweat from his forehead, and stares towards the ramp as Joseph W. Rival III slowly descends towards the ring.)

Joseph W. Rival III: Let me ask you something Deadman…

(Deadman slowly stands up as Joseph W. Rival III continues to approach the ring, locking eyes with his former mentor.)

Joseph W. Rival III: While you were here in New England Wrestling glorifying yourself at the top, after abandoning the Brotherhood, and then the Legion to join the "almighty" Horsemen– did it ever pass through that thick skull of yours that I was sitting at home in a wheelchair?

(Deadman squints his eyes at Joseph W. Rival III, wondering where he's going with what he's asking.)

Joseph W. Rival III: Did it ever pass through your mind that after you left the Brotherhood, I was getting the best damn parking spots at Wal-Mart?

Brian: Ha!

(Scattered laughs are heard from the crowd, and Joseph confidently ascends the ring steps as Deadman continues to stare a hole in him.)

Joseph W. Rival III: Did it ever pass through that waterlogged brain of yours; the possibility of which one of the boys it was that put me in a state of physical instability?

(Joseph quickly passes through the ropes and puts his chest right at Deadman's looking right up at him.)

Joseph W. Rival III: I DIDN'T THINK SO!

(Deadman turns his face away slightly as some loose saliva from Joseph's mouth splatters on the bottom of Deadman's goatee. Deadman slowly yet sharply wipes his chin.)

Joseph W. Rival III: Why?

(He doesn't give Deadman a chance to respond.)

Joseph W. Rival III: Why Deadman WHY!?

(He pulls the microphone away from his mouth for an instant and smirks, looking away to some extent before bringing the mike, back to his mouth and staring right back up at Deadman. At this time, Blackbird has rolled out of the ring and ascended the ramp towards the backstage area.)

Joseph W. Rival III: Why? Because there was only one man…. Only ONE MAN…

(Joseph pokes Deadman on his chest and frowns angrily. Deadman's eyes widen as he looks down at Rival's index finger which meets his pectoral. The crowd "ooohs.")

Joseph W. Rival III: Only one man who was capable of doing what was done to me. Only one man could have had the wits and physical competence combined to keep the name of the aggressor who put me out of commission, behind closed doors. Only one man–

(Joseph continues to press his finger into Deadman's chest but the crowd cheers as Deadman snatches the microphone from Joseph's hand. Deadman peers at the crowd and then back at Rival who narrows his brows.)

Deadman: Brother Joseph….

(The crowd stirs and Deadman pauses.)

Deadman: That's because... The attacker?

(He holds the microphone away from his mouth for a moment as he rolls his shoulders and tilts his head cracking his neck. Joseph continues to fume inside before Deadman brings the microphone back to his mouth.)

Deadman: IT WAS ME!

Jason/Sara/Brian: WHAT?!!

Jason: I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! Deadman was like a father to Joseph at the time… How could he?!

(Joseph doesn't hesitate to expel a series of closed fists to Deadman who returns with fists of his own.)

Jason: These two are tearing each other apart!!!

(Backstage officials rush to the ring and hold the two men apart. Deadman is first to break off into the corner at his own will, while the officials focus on the haywire Joseph.)

Jason: Rival wants to rip Deadman's head off!!!

Brian: Wait it looks like he's calming down now…

(Joseph points a finger at Deadman from the other side of the ring as the officials slowly back off. Just as they do, Joseph seizes the moment and charges at Deadman, leaping over the crowd of officials and onto Deadman in the corner throwing right hands.)

Jason: JOSEPH EXPLODES INTO THE CORNER!!!!

Sara: Listen to this crowd!!!

Jason: Joseph's finally stands up to the big man!

Brian: Come on now! This isn't right! This isn't an honorable way of competition! Come on now! Break 'em up!

(The officials wrench Joseph off of Deadman once again and restrain him into the corner.)

Jason: These officials are having a heck of a time restraining Joseph!

Sara: Wait a minute!!!

(Suddenly both Joseph and Deadman as a team, plow through the officials and clear the ring as the crowd starts to chant, "LET THEM FIGHT! LET THEM FIGHT!" The two come face to face once again but Deadman grimaces a smile and backs up, taking himself backwards over the ropes and to the outside of the ring.)

Jason: What the hell?? Is Deadman high tailing it?!

(Joseph charges towards the ropes and like a caged animal, stands on the second rope with his left arm supporting his weight on the top and his right pointing at Deadman who smiles and backs up the ramp with the crowd booing.)

Jason: Man oh man! What's going to happen next week!? For Brian and SaraAnne, I'm Jason Barrett! Good night!

(The telecast cuts off.)
