Pleasanton, probably one of the most boring towns you can possibly find, but then again, if you skate, you might be able to make some good use of this small suburban town. After all we do have our own skate park, which kinda sucks but its better than nothin. I won't talk about it cuz its nothin great. But of course, that gets boring so we can always go to foothill high school which used to be pretty tight. It had all sorts of ledges and a few rails, until the dumbass janitors decided to put some hooks on them, mainly for the purpose of stopping people from grinding them. And of course, I'm sure it will do good for the appearance of the school with all these fat hooks comin out of the rails and impalin kids all over the place. I mean, don't we all love that? (duh, of course) But anyways,? check this, they also put bars on our beloved ledges. You can bet someones gonna pay for that. Oh yes, those little bitchass authority figures are gonna pay. All there is that is left at foothill are the benches which thankfully can be set up in different positions to skate and a kinked rail at the back of the school. In the Downtown area we have amador which is an alright school to skate, all it really has is a double rail, a five-stair and a ledge. We can always also go to village high school, which is full of rails. Its got your beginners five-stair to the "legendary" rail, which im not sure if its still there, but I have only one word for it - long. There is also the 666, which is a kinked rail of three 6-stairs, hence 666, and then a few other rails, but I havent been there in a while so I kinda forgot. And fortunately, there's also the San Ramon skate park which is probably the best skate park we can look forward to around here. It has a bowl, and is also mostly lined with quarter pipes. There are also these long curved ledges on the lining of the park on 3 of the corners and has a bauer-box type thing in the middle and also a rail going down some stairs with a ledge in between a ramp and the stairs. There is also the dublin skate park, which is yet to be open, but we'll get to that when it does. |
