RULES as of Thursday, January 13th, 2000

All rules are to be followed to the dot! Break a rule and you will be warned. Break it again and you will be kicked from the channel. Break it again and you will be banned. Lenght of ban is determined by what rule you break.

RULE 1: Discussion on PC systems is limited to specific comparisons of hardware, software or peripherals. There is to be NO TRASHING of ANY HARDWARE between PC supporters and CONSOLE supporters.

Users found breaking this rule will be BANNED from #NextGen for 1 month. This will be a strict 500 ban by the
owner of the channel to ensure all discussions remain 'discussions'.

RULE 2: Swearing is acceptable but limited to emphasis and exageration of comments or issues. There is to be NO swearing with the intent to degrade, humiliate and/or threaten.

Users found breaking this rule will be BANNED from #NextGen for 1 hour.

RULE 3: Any MAJOR rumors, updates or news concerning ANY system/console, software or peripherals MUST be supported with a source whether it be internet based or conventional media. No proof, No credit. :P~

No ban.

RULE 4: NO CYBER, NETSEX or whatever you wanna call it!!! You wan't to pick up, go to a channel that will let you!!

Permanent 500 BAN!! NO WARNINGS!!

 

More RULES will be added as the channel grows. Check the rules every now and then to be updated because channel ops will stick to these rules to the dot.
