Oslo Open 2000

We welcome YOU to Oslo, to play in the biggest and best disc golf tournament in Norway ever. Stovner Frisbee Golf Park is a 18 hole double chained Stovner-Mac-10000 course. Oslo Open has again done the impossible. We have raised the pricemoney and included more bonuses.

Payback history Oslo Open:     1996 - 144 % ,     1997 - 163 %,     1998 - 254 %      1999 - 176 %

Tournament format:

Open:

All players will play 3 x 18 holes, the top 16 and ties will  go to a 9 hole semi, and top 5 after semi will play a 9 hole final.

Women and Amateur:

All players will play 3 x 18 holes. Top 5 players to a 9 hole final.

If more than total of 72 players enters, we will extend the course with up to 4 new holes depending on number of players over 72. (we have now opened the field for up to 88 players, and will put up a waiting list)

Doubles:

There will be held a doubles tournament on Friday afternoon.

Prices:

Top 10 players in Open division and top 3 in Womens will get pricemoney. Top 3 in Amateur will receive prices.

We guarantee at least 10000  NOK (around 1250 USD ) in Pricemoney, and a free plane ticket to another EuroTour tournament (only Open division, ask for rules). We will also give out lots of other prices among those not in the top.

Bonuses:

1. Free accomodation in Rockefabrikken (20 meters from 1.st tee).

2. Beat the Norwegian I - You will get free lunch if you place better than the best norwegian after round 1.

3. Beat the Norwegian II - You will get free dinner if you place better than the best norwegian accumulated after round 2.

4. 2timers - If you have been to Oslo Open 2 times or more and bring 2 new players to Oslo Open you will get free lunch 2 days and  2 surprise prices.

5. You want MORE, MORE, MORE come to Oslo.

Lodging:

You can sleep for free at Rockefabrikken which is 20 meters away from the 1.st tee. Accomodation has shower, kitchen etc.

Open division:    250,- NOK    Womens division: 200,- NOK
