Claudio Ubirajara Couto de Almeida was born in Santarem - Pará - Brazil on 26 April 1946.
I am a Electrical and Electronic Engineer
(UFRGS/1969),
with a Master in Nuclear Engineering
(IME/1971)
and a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering
(MIT/1976).
I worked for 14 years,from 1983 to 1997 at the
International Atomic Energy Agency
(IAEA)
in Vienna - AUSTRIA
Now I am back in Brazil since January 1998 to work in
the Brazilian Comissão Nacional de Energia Nuclear
(CNEN)
