Welcome to my home page.
As you see my name gives my background away. Part Welsh
Part Scots, I'm 34, married to Fiona and father to Caitlin Angharad (two and a half years old)
I'm a lecturer in Planning and Environmental Management at UNIVERSITY OF WALES BANGOR.
Originally educated as a Geographer i'm a Chartered Town Planner and member of the Royal Town Planning institute, after ten years with Gwynedd County Council as a minerals planner, I joined the then Normal college, which integrated with the University of Wales Bangor. My teaching and research interests are eclectic, and include National Parks, and Protected areas, Environmental noise and vibration, Planning for Aggregates production and use, Rural land uses, and alternative land use patterns.
As if I didn't have enough to do I'm also currently researching public participation in the land use planning process in the UK in particular, but in other parts of the world as well. So if you've any case studies, examples, initiatives, in your part of the world that you think I might be interested in let me know.
I'm trying to research the family history and would welcome any input, We should also stick together as there aren't that many of us, so this is a good opportunity to network with your extended family
Is your name also ?
if so please Email me,or even better
