All about me

I did a degree in Computer Science at Queens' College, Cambridge, at the Computer Lab (home of the famous coffee pot). I then stayed on to do an M.Phil. in Computer Speech and Language Processing, which is jointly run by the Computer Lab, Engineering Department and Linguistics Department.

Just before my end-of-course exams in my M.Phil. I got engaged to Katy, to whom I am now married. We met and got married in Wesley Methodist Church (Cambridge), which we attend and where we work in various parts of the Junior Church. We live with two affectionate cats (Socks and Switch) and used to have a dog called Otto.

From October 1994 to June 1997 I worked for Vocalis (speech recognition over the telephone), as a programmer/ project manager. I now work for Geneva Technology Ltd. who do billing databases for phone/cable/utility companies.

As for my interests, well, see the rest of this web site...

For more information about Bob's in general, see the Bob Book.
