John Hoare born in Ireland, probably Westmeath, married in Ireland, Mary McGuiness.
Their son Patrick Hoare was born in Westmeath, Ireland, in 1837. He emigrated to Australia (Victoria), during the gold rush and at the height of the Irish Famine. His occupation on his wedding certificate is given as a Miner. He later became a farmer. He married at the Inglewood Catholic Church, Melbourne, Victoria, on the 15th of January 1865 Mary COYNE , daughter of James Coyne, Farmer, and Margaret FAGAN. Mary was born in 1849, in Westmeath Ireland. According to her marriage certificate, she was sixteen and married by written consent of her father.
