| Comments: First off just let me say, i have done considerable research on anarchism and communism and have decided that communism is not practicle on a large scale. somewhere it will fail, however great the philosophy, of which i agree entirely. however, i believe hat if anarchy were declared it would ultimitely result in a chaotic organization of small communist societies that would ultimately prosper. in an anarchist society it would only be practicle to unite with others for protection and to ease the peoples' s stanance. I am a firm believer of freedom and the world, which in turn declares ignorance and organizations my primary enemies. i admit that i have alot of knowledge yet to acquire, but a majority of my beliefs stem only from what i've seen and experience , as literature and media on such a controversial topic is very difficult to determine between truth and propaghanda. hence, i have very literally killed my television (.30-.30, 12 gauge, .22, and a mildly altered baseball bat)and refuse to watch nearly a l televised programs since it is, on occasion, nice to be reminded how centered around money our society has become. I hate capitalism and believe that it is only the brain-child of some of the worst crimes in the world, which the Bible agrees with; such s greed and envy as well as a long list of otherwise unfriendly emotions and acts, retrospectively. I believe firmly that the world can provide for me everything that i require for my happiness and, ultimately, my freedom. I disagree with all kinds of mas production and therefore refuse to eat any meat that was not acquired on a one on one basis between the hunter and the hunted in respect for other forms of life on this planet who only want what we want. freedom. i also disagree with organized religion s nce, like all other sorts of organizations, it removes any sort of meaning out of the original intentions of the organizors. I was raised mormon and the last time i attended services i very seriously got nauseus when i realized that i was watching childre being very openly brainwashed. if there are any mormons out there reading this, tell me if this does not sound very familiar on fast sunday, "I'd like to bear my testimony. I know this church is true. I love my family and i know that joseph smith was a t ue prophet..." and on and on. i know, i lived it. if churches were so keen on god, excuse me, God, they should ultimately deny any sort of capitol or money all together since it spawns only what they agree and preach as sins. feel free to e-mail me, i'd like to hear others' responses or opinions. ignorance is a crime in itself. | Comments: I've only had time to read a bit of what you have to say but it seems we are in gerneral agreement on a fair bit of stuff. I'm currently doing a BSc in development studies, natural resources and so we've got that kind of background in common. As well as the resources modules I've been doing a fair bit of social and anthropological units. I see development as being relevent everywhere including in the west, the alternative is to say "we have arrived, this is as good as it gets" which would put all research out of the picture. For example I'm doing my dissitation on the British landrights m vement. British NGO's will give money to the Brazilian movement but their doners and patrons are some of the largest landowners in this country. I gradually came to realise that I am an anarchist through seeing what governments of every colour flag do to keep people from controling their own lives while travelling around. My activities are mainly what I call educational as due to media disinformat on most people don't know that the way they try to run their lives is along anarchist principles. I suppose you could call that "propagation by education" My family background is peasant and although I am at university now as a mature student I am still close to the land. Anyway that's a bit about me. |

| Comments: Hi. My name is Mitra and I am a junior in highschool. The other day in history class, my teacher and I were having a conversation on Anarchism. I had some questions that he couldn't answer, so I decided to search the Net for someone that wouldn't mind nswering some questions or giving me information. I am really trying to be sincere and I don't want anyone to think that this is a joke. I have been to a couple other web pages of Anarchists and it is a surprise to me that I share some of their views. f it isn't a trouble and you wouldn't mind educating me a little, please e-mail me at simin@advdata.net Thank you for your time. |
