This part is just for me (the part where I talk to myself). I know no one's coming to Edmonton.

here's a working list and outdated list of stuff to do in Edmonton
--at the Provincial Museum, look at the big buffalo head--also go to the minerals room and stick your fingers in the little holes in the big rock--whisper secret plans and see if the guard hears you on his spy phones--go to North Town Mall's basement (take that elevator one flight down) and listen for the haunted vacuum--you can sing under the spoon at the Legislature--or put on your own show at Borden Park, dive into the little moat too.

There used to be a little animation booth in North Town Mall too, it cost 50 cents and if you're 8, it was possible to squish three people in. The downtown library kids section (in the basement) had animals. There was an iguana, rabbits, birds, a duck. I liked the duck. I really liked that book ferris wheel. Maybe they still have it. I remember a lot of stuff from Londonderry Mall, I liked it before they changed it, when the tiles were dark and there were hidden pathways and bathrooms. I loved the escalator (movator?) in Woolco, I was like meat on a conveyor belt. During christmas they always put the same display above it, it was a moving Santa going over a list of boys and girls and I would peek over every year to see if my name was there (my name isn't too common, and I would never find sticker books or stickers or pencils or bingo dabbers with my name on it. once I did find a heart-shaped pin with my name but I didn't like yellow flowers). To get inside the mall from parking there was a slanted/curved pedway that me and my sisters would run down and up yelling and listening to our voices echo (North Town had an echo-y 'door' too, still does, but I don't yell anymore). One of my very favorite parts of town is Londonderry theatre. I haven't been there in a while, but I hope it's still the same. The place is red and pink and white with hanging lights. I used to climb the rocks (my cliff) right outside it and get in trouble.
