Amphibians
Amphibians are frogs, toads, salamanders, and other creatures that are usually considered as disgusting, slimy, and gross. They are found just about anywhere where there's moisture: ponds, mud, logs, under patios, and other places where they can be in the way of humans. Though they're not really for the 'squeemish' they are quite fascinating for others!
Most amphibians are found in pet stores, but if you do make the decision of purchasing one, make sure that the creature's healthy, for it to be frisky, makes an effort to escape, eats normally, has a plump body, and moves when you touch it. If you do have herps, make sure that you turn the lights on and off at the right time so it will simulate the time of day, shorter days in Winter and so on. Most amphibians are nocturn
I'm getting a new tank soon, maybe about 50 gallons and I'm planning to put a couple of newts into the tank with my goldfish, so there should be a whole different section on newts and goldfish soon. Since my stupid camera has an automatic flash, everytime I take a picture, there's a dumb reflection and the fish don't show up! I'll figure out something later.
Say hi! Look how cute I am!
