Max is a poet. I mean, a real poet! He has more than ten poetry books published in Brazil and many of his poems were translated into English, French, Spanish, German and Italian. Erotic and passionate, Max has also dedicated himself to plastic arts and very recently his "collage" works were presented in an exhibition in São Paulo. He is 71 years old and lives in Belém, where he is the director of a public school dedicated to teach language and literature for high school students. In the following pages, some of his poems, translated into other languages.
