Drifting...

I opened myself to the peace of the moment,
Knowing full well that it wouldn't last,
Letting my senses drift in the currents of time,
I was awash, tuned to the ebb & flow of life around me,
Its energy pouring, swirling & washing across my heightened sight,
Permeating my every pore,
Setting my soul afire,
I lived, I died, I was all and nothing,
With the synergy of life given me,
I was transmutated,
And arrived here....
