Answer the following:

2. When was Galena's first trading post built?
3. What types of minerals are found here?
4. What types of industry flourished in this Mississippi River town?
5. What was so special about Galena in the 1850s? How many people lived there?
6. What happened to Galena from 1850 to 1960? What famous general is from here?
7. What is happening to Galena now? How many live there?
