Flags of Canada
While on holiday in Wyoming at a parade we saw a U.S. color guard carrying the historic flags of the United States. This seemed like a really good idea so we put together some strings of Canadian flags for the New Years Eve party at our local church. Here are some of the flags of the Dominion of Canada.
Peacekeepers in Suez used this flag, two blue stripes meanig sea to sea and the Maple Leaf.
The Canadian forces in both World Wars would have flown a flag like this.
In 1992, we celebrated 125 years as a nation with this flag.
In 1967, the present flag with two red stripes and only one maple leaf was made offical.
