I have been diving for over thirty years and some of my diving experiences include Belize, San Salvador (Bahamas), Little Cayman, Moorea (French Polynesia), Turks and Caicos, Northern Gulf of Mexico, Florida Keys, and the springs of central Florida.
Snorkeling with the manatee in the Homasassa River, kissing a gray whale in the San Ignacio lagoon of Baja, touching the stones at Stonehenge, standing atop Temple V at Tekal, crossing the Artic Circle, and walking the Sand Walk at Charles Darwin's home, "Down House", in Kent, England have to rank as my most unique life experiences.
I am saddened to see the damage that has been done to the reefs of the Caribbean during the last few years and the amount of plastic that is washing up on some of the most remote beaches of the world.
I have traveled in Central America, Canada, Alaska, England, Europe and the continental US. I just returned from Costa Rica where I saw three-toed sloths, scarlet macaws, chestnut billed toucans, humpback whales, a water spout, and I sat through a tornado.
