CLASS PROGRAM
RVDO. FELIX CASTRO RODRIGUEZ MIDDLE SCHOOL
Prof.
Ernesto V. Claudio Sandoval, Integrated Sciences Teacher .
We are online! Now the science class enjoy wireless technology.
Science instruction becomes more relevant to students when it is taught within the context of everyday life along with what takes place in the science classroom. Because reading is the gateway skill that makes all other learning possible, the critical thinking skills that come with a solid foundation in science and reading are ever more important in our knowledge—based society. One of my main concerns in the teaching of science is to provide a well balance curriculum one that stresses the scientific enterprise as well as the relationship to technology and society. Every student has their own learning style and I think that with diverse activities and methods of presentation students realize their strengths and allow them to develop these skills so they will excel.
I will be able to implement solutions in my quest to integrate technology into the classroom and take full advantage of anytime, anywhere learning via the
Internet. I believe students must learn word processing and basic desktop
publishing and how to use the Internet as a research tool. I also believe
teachers should be trained to effectively use technology as a tool for improving
students achievement. 2008-2009 8th Integrated Sciences Syllabus
