Diana Remembered
Hi! Welcome to my Lady Di Page!

Elton John’s "Candle in the Wind"

Rewritten by him and sung at Lady Diana's Funeral

Goodbye, England's rose,
may you ever grow in our hearts.
You were the grace that placed itself
where lives were torn apart.
You called out to our country,
and you whispered to those in pain.
Now you belong to heaven,
and the stars spell out your name.
And it seems to me you lived your life
like a candle in the wind:
never fading with the sunset
when the rain set in.
And your footsteps will always fall here,
along England's greenest hills;
your candle's burned out long before
your legend ever will.
Loveliness we've lost;
these empty days without your smile.
This torch we'll always carry
for our nation's golden child.
And even though we try,
the truth brings us to tears;
all our words cannot express
the joy you brought us through the years.
Goodbye, England's rose,
from a country lost without your soul,
who'll miss the wings of your compassion
more than you'll ever know.

"Lady Diana, An Angel Of Mercy"?

GoodBye to a Princess

by: Justasur

I never saw a world so sad

I never saw a candle shine so bright

like the ones that shine for you today

I can feel the sadness all around me

The tears fall without shame

The flowers are brought as tokens

As if our trust has been broken

Our fairy tales has suddenly changed

For you were the Princess we all wanted to be

Your Beauty graced us all

like the softness in a summer's breeze

We will miss you so much Lady Di

But we all will be a better person

You taught us love, charity and you taught us so well

And so you will leave us now

With the angels you will stay

We give you back to the one that sent you here

And we Thank him,for giving you to us,if only a Day
