The Maldonado Leo Club was founded in May 4th 1971 at Maldonado city,
Eastern Republic of Uruguay.Actually have 36 members,being
one of the biggest and more importants of the uruguayan leoism.. This page was created
celebrating our 25th anniversary,commemorated in 1996.The picture
shows our club team who win the 1996 National Leo Clubs Olympics
at the city of Rivera,near the Uruguay-Brazil border.
The events were soccer,handball,volleyball,table tennis,card games and running.
The Maldonado Leo Club annualy make benefit works like give first-aid kits to the schools,
garage sales at poor neighbourhoods of our city,Sight-first programs and diabethes tests with the Maldonado Lions Club,but the main work is to improve the friendship between the young people who want to join our club.
