Now when you have seen some of my pages, maybe you want to know a little bit about who I am.

Well, that is not a very easy thing to do, to describe who I am. I mean, I'm a human, but so are probably you. That doesn't make me me. So my name is Anna, but there are lots of people named Anna. The thing that makes me (and everyone else too, of course) so special, is my life so far, my thoughts and ideas, and the way I look. If I should describe all that, this would become a very long story. So I won't. But I'll tell you a few things about myself.

I'm a 17 year old girl from the south of Sweden. I live in a small society called Skummeslöv. The populaton is about 800-900. I go to school in Laholm, a town 12 km away where I'm studying in the 'science-programme' and I think I want to make researches about chemicals and toxic substances in the environment when I grow up. I'm very concerned about the environment, and those substances are a big threat to our planet. Or maybe I want to deal with the climate changes and the CO₂-problem.

One of my best friends is a cat named Tiger who lives in our house. There's also another cat living in our house, a small one named Missan. As if we didn't have enough animals living with us already, there are also 3 tanks in our house, with different kinds of fish in it. I'm not very interested in aquariums, but my mum is so she takes care of them all. My best human friend is Emelie, a very kind person. She doesn't live in our house, though :).

I have several interests, and it would be boring if I listed them all here. But here are a few:

I love acting, and last year I joined a local theatre-group. This year I haven't, though, I don't have any time to do that. Instead, I'm going to a dance class once per week. It is really fun, and I wish I could dance more. But I can't do everything.

Another part of my life is music, I probably wouldn't survive without it. I like almost everything from Bad Religion, Manic Street Preachers, Smashing Pumpkins and Ebba Grön to Broder Daniel, The Wannadies and This Perfect Day. But there's one kind of music I can't stand, I really hate it. It's called "Backstreet boys & Five music". If I hear that on the radio I have to turn it off, I can't stand it.

I like playing tennis too, although I'm not good at all. As long as no one watches me, it's OK :). I don't think I'd have played tennis if I hadn't worked at the tennis stadion here in the summers. The job is great, it's very free, I've met lots of people this summer, and it's well-paid. At least I think so.

The nature around here is nice, it isn't so polluted - yet. I live about 300 m from the ocean, so I love the summers here. In the winter all the tourists go home to the larger cities, and I feel a bit isolated then. But I have the computer, and I like talking to other people from different parts of the world, that's why I want you to send me an e-mail, so I know what you think of my pages.
