Along the south wall are three tiered shelves. Under full light (no shade cloth), the top shelf receives about 3600 ftcd of light during midday while the second shelf lighting varies from a high of about 2000 ftcd to a low of about 800 ftcd. The bottom shelf receives light of about 1500 ftcd to about 500 ftcd. Each shelf has its own spray line and control valve while the top tier is sprayed by the overhead sprayers which manage the hanging plants as well.
Air is circulated throughout the greenhouse by about 10 - 12 fans. The total number of fans depend upon the number and configuration of plants within the house. As can be seen from the pictures, 6 in clip-on fans are popular for providing air movement in specific and special locations.
