This plant came from a com-pot I got from Tom Fennel III when he was at UH Manoa back in the mid-'70's. While it is not a terribly good looking flower, it more than makes up for it in floriforousness, often putting out several branched spikes per growth, each with 20 to 30 or more flowers. All the cross that I flowered were like that!
The flowers on this one had a light tan background with darker barring/blotching, with the distinctive M. warczewiczii lip; off-white with deep maroon at the base. Size was around 1 inch or so.
