"Photo Friends"

This is the special place at Sylvia's Kitty Condo where we are pleased to be able to share with you some of the very special furry friends who we have met along the course of our dear girls journey. As our "extended family" of friends grows, so too grows the love which fills our family's hearts.

We'd like to introduce you to two special fur babies, Ebenezer and Mistletoe.    After a heartfelt battle against the sarcoma monster, Ebenezer has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge to chase butterflies with our dear girl Sylvia. Ebenezer adopted his mom and dad at the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society, where from day one, his intelligent and loving personality made him a "stand out"!! Over the years Ebenezer trained his parents to not only play ball simply by meowing, but also took charge when it came to meal time by literally "using his head" when it came to operating the can opener to obtain his daily treats.   Unfortunately, Ebenezer's family once again find themselves having to battle the sarcoma monster, this time with their baby Mistletoe.  Dear Mistletoe (Missy for short)  was adopted from the Animal Rescue League in Pittsburgh in 1991 as a companion for Ebenezer. She got her name because she loves to give kisses to everyone. Mistletoe tucks her mom and dad into bed every night before retiring to one of her favorite nighttime cuddle spots.   One of Mistletoes favorite activities is to sit in her backyard and play "watch kitty" by looking out for any of the moles or chipmunks that scurry about in the neighbors woodpile. Please say a special prayer for Mistletoe and her mom and dad with the hope that their family is blessed with much strength and love during this difficult part of their lives journey which SO many feline loving friends share in.

This is a picture of Magickat, a dear furry friend of our family who after a valiant battle against the sarcoma monster, has now left his home in Florida to cross over to the land of love and comfort. Magickat's parents have immortalized their dear boy on their family's website, as he is the inspiration behind  P.A.W. C.A.R.E.S. (Public Awareness for Wholistic Companion Animal Remedies and Environmental Solutions) and an upcoming book authored by Magickat's mother: Healing Magick: The Miraculous Teachings of Magickat.
