Welcome to Sylvia's
"Photo Friends"
This is the special place at Sylvia's Kitty Condo where we are pleased to be able to share with you some of the very special furry friends who we have met along the course of our dear girls journey. As our "extended family" of friends grows, so too grows the love which fills our family's hearts.
This Empress fur baby is Haley, a northern friend of our family from Alberta, Canada. With special loving care from her family, dear Haley is valiantly battling the sarcoma monster. Haley is even feeling frisky enough along her road to recovery to "wrassle" with her furry sister Phoebe. While dealing with the many emotions that fill her family's hearts, Haley's mom and dad are looking to reach out to help empower others concerning the facts relating to this cancer. Please light your prayer candles and keep your fingers crossed in the hope that Haley is one of the miracle kitties who is able to defeat this dreaded cancer.
This is a picture of Whitney, a dear friend of ours who after a heartfelt battle against the sarcoma monster has now crossed over to the land of love and comfort. Dear Whitney was blessed to have a loving family that took both a traditional as well as natural path towards always providing her with the most quality and comfort of life during this difficult part of her nine lives journey. Spike, Bypass and bif will forever miss their furry sister who was known as the "water baby" of the family, as she even once checked out the family bathtub while the water was still raining down. Please include dear Whitney's family in your daily thoughts and prayers in the hope that with each and every passing day, their hearts begin to heal from the heartache of having to say "until" to their dear girl.
This is a picture of a beautiful fur baby appropriately named after the Goddess Astarte. Unfortunately, dear Astarte crossed over the Rainbow Bridge almost 13 years ago after bravely battling the sarcoma monster. Astarte cuddled with her family in Virginia where she she was a master lizard catcher. She and her mom loved to walk together (yes, she had her mom on a leash), often visiting her favorite tree. Astarte's loving family not only dedicates their lives towards their interest in Siamese kitty rescue but they are also now setting forth on helping to spread the "word" about this dreaded cancer. We're sure that Astarte is now looking down from the heavens, SO proud of the heartfelt efforts of her loving parents.
