"Photo Friends"

This is the special place at Sylvia's Kitty Condo where we are pleased to be able to share with you some of the very special furry friends who we have met along the course of our dear girls journey. As our "extended family" of friends grows, so too grows the love which fills our family's hearts.

These two cuddle mates of Santa Paws are Scarlett (Santa's right) and Sasha, longtime friends of our family.  After  bravely battling the sarcoma monster, Scarlett has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge to frolic and chase butterflies with Sylvia in the land of love and comfort. Dear Sasha has also made that heartfelt journey to the land of love and comfort to join her sister and all of their furry Angel friends.  Scarlett and Sasha were truly blessed in that their family always focused on the quality and comfort of their lives. While our hearts ache due to the loss of such special members of our "extended family", our heartfelt hope is that with each and every passing day, Scarlett and Sasha's family find comfort in the lifetime of loving memories which they were able to share together. 

This is a picture of Cy, a dear friend of our family who after a valiant and successful battle against the sarcoma monster peacefully crossed over the Rainbow Bridge after fighting another beast, HyperCardio Myopathy. Cy was named after one of the heroines in the book "The Wild Road" by Gabriel King, a name wisely chosen as it reflected her courageous battle against the sarcoma monster.  Dear Cy first captured her mom's heart when she was visiting the Animal Shelter Cat room.  While walking by the cage where Cy and her two sisters were cuddling, Cy reached out and grabbed her sweatshirt.  When she stopped to talk to her and scratch her head, Cy kissed her, and thus began their journey together.  Although temporarily separated in this part of their life's journey, we take comfort in knowing that dear Cy's human and furry family will one day again cuddle together in the land of love and comfort.

This handsome fur baby is Spike, a northern friend of our family who cuddles in Michigan.  Together with his loving family, dear Spike is bravely battling the sarcoma monster.   Spike was born during a snowstorm in February of 1985, and when discovered by his family, was welcomed into the warmth of their hearts and home. Spike is fortunate to live in an area where it is safe for him to play outside, and he has seen quite a few adventures during  this part of his nine lives journey.  Spike is a friendly guy, but has become even more affectionate during this heartfelt battle which he and SO many dear fur baby's have faced.  Please light your special prayer candles in the hope that Spike and his family are able to enjoy as MUCH love, peace and comfort as possible during this difficult time in their family's lives.
