Welcome to Sylvia's

"Photo Friends"

This is the special place at Sylvia's Kitty Condo where we are pleased to be able to share with you some of the very special furry friends who we have met along the course of our dear girls journey. As our "extended family" of friends grows, so too grows the love which fills our family's hearts.

This is a picture of Smokey (right), Sylvester and their Mom, Floridian friends of our family.   After a heartfelt battle against the sarcoma monster, dear Smokey has now crossed over to the land of love and comfort.  Smokey always brought tremendous joy into her family's lives, as one of her unique qualities was in knowing just when someone was troubled and in need of comfort.   Smokey once even cuddled up with her mom during a stressful time in her life and comforted her by caressing her with her soft paw.  Sylvester will forever miss his furry playmate, as they used to run around the house and chase each other silly.  When Smokey tired of her brothers furry antics, she would actually go into their family's bathroom and close the door behind her!!  It wouldn't be long before Mom would hear a sweet meow.  Seeking just who was calling out to her, Smokey's Mom would find Sylvester camped out in front of the bathroom door.  When she opened the door, Smokey's Mom would find her dear girl looking up at her as if to say "what took you so long to rescue me!".  Please send your positive and loving energy to Smokey's family in the hope that they find comfort in looking forward to that glorious day when they will once again cuddle together with their dear angel girl.

This regal furry boy is Scuttles, a special friend of ours who cuddles with his family in Oklahoma.  With the tender loving assistance of his family, dear Scuttles is bravely battling the sarcoma monster.  Scuttles has earned the nickname of "Garden Kitty", as he just LOVES to keep his Mom company while she is tending to their family's  garden!  When Scuttles tires of watching his Mom toiling in her garden, he politely convinces her (ok, with great determination, he attempts to climb up her legs<grin>) that it's time for her to pick him up and carry him around their family's one acre homestead so that they can enjoy looking at all of the birds and beautiful flowers.
Please include dear Scuttles and his family in your daily thoughts and prayers in the hope that their lives are blessed with as MUCH love, peace and comfort as possible during this difficult part of their lives journey.

bonkers2000.JPG (14719 bytes)

This is a picture of Bonkers, a very special friend of ours from Florida who after a valiant battle with the sarcoma monster has now made that heartfelt journey across the Rainbow Bridge. Dear Bonkers was truly blessed in that his family never lost focus on the most important part of his nine lives journey, that of the "comfort" and "quality" of life.
"Bubba" as he was affectionately known, always loved to sit on the edge of the tub and sneak a sip of water while his Mom was taking a bath!  Bonkers was the "tattletale" in his family, as he always enjoyed snitching on his furry sisters when they did something wrong!   Bonkers was an excellent watch-kitty, as he always alerted his family whenever he heard someone or something outside their home.  Bonkers also loved to scare the lizards that were brave enough to climb on the patio screens, as well as chase the furry toy rats that his Mom would buy for him (he just LOVED to play hide and seek with them under the couch!).   Please say a special prayer for Bonkers family in the hope that with each and every passing day, their hearts begin to heal from having had to say "until" to the furry light of their lives.
