"Photo Friends"

This is the special place at Sylvia's Kitty Condo where we are pleased to be able to share with you some of the very special furry friends who we have met along the course of our dear girls journey. As our "extended family" of friends grows, so too grows the love which fills our family's hearts.

This sun cuddling cutie is Corkie, a furry friend of ours who snuggles with her family in California.  Dear Corkie is SO very blessed to have a loving family that is helping her during this difficult part of her nine lives journey.  Corkie's Mom is also pouring her heartfelt energy towards empowering others with the information that will hopefully prevent them from having to share in the heartache associated with this terrible disease. 
Although it's unfortunate that our families had to meet under these circumstances, we truly considers ourselves blessed in knowing that we are not alone in attempting to make a positive difference in the battle against VAS and the lives of animal lovers around the world.
Please include dear Corkie and her family in your thoughts and prayers in the hope that they are able to enjoy many more cuddle filled moments together during this difficult journey which has united the hearts and lives of SO many feline loving families.

This big handsome boy is Timmy, a 10 year old furry friend of our family who cuddles with his Mom (he just loves to read over her shoulder!!) and furry siblings in a log cabin which sits by a stream in a beautiful high mountain valley. Timmy's furry siblings include an elderly little white toy poodle mix (his favorite play toy when he was little) an older female gray tabby named Samantha and a recent addition to their furry clan named Diesel.  Diesel is a young black fur baby with white whiskers, chin and feet - a mischievous and vocal sort of guy who earned his name because he purrs so loudly he sounds like his mom's truck!! With such a beautiful place to call home, Timmy and his furry siblings often like to accompany their mom when she goes out for her walks in the country. (Timmy and Diesel are pictured strolling above).  With the loving assistance of his Mom, dear Timmy is bravely battling the sarcoma monster. Please light your special prayer candles for Timmy and all of his family in the hope that he is able to become one of the miracle kitty's who wins this difficult part of his nine lives journey.

These two couch cuddling cuties are Nahla (on the left) and Tiger.  After a valiant battle with the sarcoma monster, dear Tiger has made that heartfelt journey across the Rainbow Bridge.  While our family shares in the heartache that Tiger's family is having to experience as a result of this terrible disease, we take comfort in knowing that Tiger is now frolicking and chasing butterflies with Sylvia in the land of love and comfort. Tiger was always the cuddler in his family, as his parents and furry siblings Nahla, Damien and Pookie couldn't lay down anywhere in their house for more than five minutes without their dear boy coming over to curl up with them. On sunny days, Tiger could be found cuddling on his favorite windowsill, soaking up the warm rays of sun. 
Please say a very special prayer for Tiger's family in the hope that with each and every passing day, their hearts begin to recover from the heartache of having to say "until" to their dear boy, healed in remembering the lifetime of loving memories that they were able to enjoy together.
