This is a shot looking to the east of Garza Garcia and Monterrey. It is our most famous landmark in the city, Saddle Hill, or "El Cerro de la Silla." Before we became an industrialized metropolis of 4.5 million people, the big sky and beautiful mountains were the sights to see in the area. Of course they still are, but you need to get away from it all now to appreciate them. Regiomontanos (people from Monterrey) have a reputation of being hard working and overly thrifty. Besides looking like a saddle, the mountain has a tale associated with it.
