Personality: Skittish but affectionate, playful. Doesn't get along with
Bandit too well. Too many endearing traits to mention.
Special Privilege: Every time I eat a container of yogurt, she gets to
lick the empty container.
Born: c. 1996
Personality: Affectionate once he gets to know you. The best lap cat
of the three. Doesn't trust Hurricane.
Actually, Linda thinks he has a crush on Hurricane and I'm beginning to agree with
her. Looks like we have a love triangle on our hands.
Special Privilege: Every time I eat a frozen dinner, he gets to lick
the food tray.
Born: April 1994
Personality: Has vast vocabulary of six words: "chase", "yum-yum", "play",
"brush", "squeeezee!" and "go on!". Very talkative!
Gets along with Ebony already! Doesn't trust Hurricane or Bandit.
Special Privilege: Gets to be Squeeezeed.
This is really a rare moment of peaceful coexistence for these two,
well worth immortalizing.
A more contemplative moment for all three.
Linda and I have been maintaining three hummingbird feeders around the
back of the house. This has brought out a delightfully sensitive side in
Hurricane...
...She has taken up birdwatching with a heartwarming enthusiasm!
In my spare time I'd like to add more information about all three cats
(stop rolling your eyes like that!) but for now I'm just going to add
an early picture of Bandit.
Here's a younger Bandit (then known as Bart) with his childhood friend Kellie, back when he was living with his
original owner, James Kao. Interestingly, I just married James's sister Linda.
Funny how these connections work out.
