Welcome to the website of the

Mojave Desert Bird Club

Founded in 1996

A Snapshot of the Club

The Mojave Desert Bird Club serves the birding community of the Victor Valley and surrounding areas including Silver Lakes, the Barstow area, Lucerne Valley, and local mountains. The club has six General Meetings each year and maintains a regular field trip schedule both near and far. The club also publishes a newsletter, the Mojave Birdsong, every two months.

The Victor Valley offers a variety of birding locations. The best birding, however, is found at sites close to the Mojave River. Birders frequent the Mojave Narrows Regional Park, Jess Ranch, Harper Dry Lake, Spring Valley and Silver Lakes as well as agricultural and desert locales.

Please consider joining us on a birding adventure.
